Cozy Fall Gift Guide: Thoughtful Finds Under $50

There’s something about fall that makes giving feel even more special. 🍂 Whether it’s a small “just because” surprise, a thoughtful hostess gift, or something cozy to brighten someone’s day, little gestures go a long way this season. And the best part? You don’t have to spend a fortune to give beautifully.

Here’s my cozy fall gift guide with thoughtful finds under $50 — perfect for friends, neighbors, teachers, or anyone who deserves a little seasonal magic.

1. A Fall-Scented Candle

Think pumpkin spice, apple cider, or warm vanilla. A candle instantly transforms a space into a cozy retreat. Bonus: pair with cute matches or a wick trimmer for a polished touch. If you like gifting candles; I bought a couple of vintage matchbooks and some blank ones and I love to put pictures of my friends and I on them to give to people! Let me know if you want a DIY of how to decorate a blank match book!

Ideas: Go to TJ Maxx, Homegoods, or even Bath and Body Works and pick your favorite fall scent! If you are on a budget- my favorite is less than $5- It’s called Maple Pumpkin Latte! It smells delicious!

☕ 2. A Seasonal Mug/Glass + Drink Mix

A mug with a sweet fall design paired with a packet of hot cocoa or chai makes the coziest gift. Wrap it with twine and a cinnamon stick for a charming presentation. Another suggestion is a seasonal glass paired with mini bottles of your favorite fall drinks!

 🧺 3. A Mini Boo Basket

Yes — Boo Baskets aren’t just for kids! Fill a small basket with candy, socks, or a mini candle. It’s a festive surprise that feels personal but stays budget-friendly.

One of my favorite mini boo baskets to make is to go to Trader Joe’s grab a canvas tote and fill it with all their seasonal favorites! Top 5 right now: Pumpkin Spice Mini Cake, Maple Butter, Mini Bouquet of Flowers or some Mums, a seasonal item like a mini candle or a lotion, and I always throw in a fun drink like Pumpkin Pie Wine! There is truly nothing there your bestie wouldn’t like!

📚 4. A Cozy Read

Pair a paperback or a pretty coffee table book with a blanket scarf. It’s the ultimate gift for anyone who loves curling up on chilly evenings.

Ideas: Blind Date with a Book or a Seasonal Magazine! If you’re local, Painted Tree has some great Blind Dates with A Book! They are always decorated cute and most of the time, they pick books that you’ve never read! If they aren’t big readers who doesn’t love a good magazine!

🌸 5. Seasonal Flowers or Greens

Fresh blooms or a rustic bouquet of eucalyptus, sunflowers, or mums make a cheerful and unexpected fall gift. Arrange them in a mason jar or small vase for a thoughtful finishing touch.

Easy Tip: If you buy them from Trader Joes they normally are wrapped cute enough that you don’t even need to do anything else!

🍪 6. Homemade Treats

Bake a batch of pumpkin cream cheese brownies or pumpkin bread. Wrap in parchment, tie with twine, and add a sprig of rosemary for a homemade touch.

My Grandma’s Pumpkin Bread recipe is my favorite to make to gift to people!

Fall is about slowing down, savoring the season, and finding joy in little things. These thoughtful gift ideas under $50 are cozy, practical, and sure to make someone’s day. Because gifting isn’t about the price tag — it’s about creating a moment of warmth and happiness. 🧡
